Description

The purpose of this position is to produce parts and process orders using existing equipment, such as µ-LPBF machines, EDM machines, cleaning stations, measuring machines, etc., as well as to operate a sample grinding machine.

Your primary responsibilities will include the following tasks:

  • Embedding, grinding, and analyzing samples according to specifications or in accordance with the quality assurance agreement, including preparing the machines
  • Processing of production orders
  • Conducting quality control (worker self-inspection)
  • Documentation
  • Autonomous programming based on drawings or CAM data sets (DCAM)
  • Independent setup of CNC EDM machines, including all related tasks (maintenance, cleaning, replacement of wear parts, monitoring of operating fluids)
  • Maintenance and minor repairs (filter replacement, reconfiguration, material changes, etc.)
  • Cleaning of components
  • Conducting quality control (microscope inspection, gauge inspection, worker self-inspection)
  • Documentation of results (job tracking card) Post-processing and cleaning of components (Twister, ultrasonic bath)
  • Operating Instructions for the Sample Grinding Machine
  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship and have professional experience in a technical field
  • You have several years of experience operating machinery
  • Ideally, you have expertise and/or professional experience in wire EDM
  • Experience and expertise in additive manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in using DCAM; CAD skills such as SolidWorks and Inventor are also welcome
  • You are proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of English is a plus
